Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Engineer/Assistant Manager for Engineered Solutions in India. The role involves handling EPC project procurement, RFQs, and PO releases while coordinating with Engg, Projects, and QC to meet production timelines.

The candidate should have 7-8 years of procurement experience, strong vendor management, and familiarity with SAP and MS Office. On-site work at Pune/Talegaon, India, with a focus on oil & gas/marine projects as add-on experience.

Sr. Sourcing Engineer/Assistant Manager – Engineered Solutions

As a Sr. Sourcing Engineer/Assistant Manager – Engineered Solutions your mission is to Atlas Copco EngineeredSolution is sub-unit of Atlas Copco Group and focused on customized air/cng compressors, dryers & N2 generators. You will report to [add Hiring Manager title].

Responsibilities

• Candidate should have worked in EPC project environment or package supplier.
• Should have experience of handling mechanical bought-outs, E&I items, fabricated & sheet metal parts, services.
• Basic responsibilities shall be sending RFQ, getting offers, evaluate technically & commercially, negotiate and release POs.
• Candidate shall work under aggressive & demanding project time lines and responsible to deliver the commodities to meet the production plan.
• Should be conversant with various basic product specifications and manufacturing process.
• Role involves co-ordination with Engg, Projects, Proposal, QC on day-to-day basis to ensure on time ordering & delivery.
• Should have experience in processing TQ cycles with vendor, refer contract specification and requirements.
• Experience of handling Oil & Gas, Marine application projects will be added advantage.
• Candidate shall work upon multiple projects at a time & adhere to project schedules.

Experience Requirements

• 7-8 years procurement experience .
• The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Sourcing & Supply Chain processes / systems, procurement terms & conditions .
• Very good knowledge of vendor base, manufacturing processes is a must .
• Fair understanding of the commodity market trends e.g. metal prices, supplier base, manufacturing techniques, etc.
• You should preferably have a fair knowledge of SAP and an advanced competence of MS-Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).

Educational requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering.
• Additional qualification in operations / supply chain shall be an added advantage
