Job summary

MillerKnoll in Bengaluru, India seeks a Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce with 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience. You will design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and various APIs.

You will lead integrations, guide architecture, and mentor junior developers while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of enterprise-level software development experience.
• 8+ years of Salesforce development experience with multiple Salesforce implementation projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud.
• Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Security Model.
• Experience building integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, OAuth.
• Good understanding of governor limits, security, sharing, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD tools such as Copado.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Configure Salesforce using declarative capabilities including Flows, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, Assignment Rules, Case Management, Entitlements, and Omnichannel.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and middleware platforms.
• Lead technical solution design, customization, and implementation activities while adhering to Salesforce best practices and governor limits.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote engineering best practices.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement scalable solutions.
• Participate in release planning, CI/CD deployments, and DevOps processes.
• Create and maintain technical design documentation and implementation artifacts.
• Stay updated with Salesforce platform releases, new features, and emerging technologies including Salesforce AI capabilities.

As Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce, Technology, you'll play a vital role at MillerKnoll. We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience to design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, integrations, and platform customizations. The candidate should have experience delivering end-to-end Salesforce implementations while collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.

Desirable

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant certification.
• Experience with Salesforce AI, Agentforce, Einstein AI, or Generative AI capabilities.
• Experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce or Experience Sites.

Work Location and Hours

This role will work in the shift timings of 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. IST. The employees could be requested to work in a different shift on rare occasions to support the business during a critical issue or for any releases/migrations that maybe scheduled.

Location

Location of work is Bangalore, India. Initial 6 months, until successful completion of probation period, employees will work from office and then transition to hybrid working model.
