Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking a Software Engineer - Salesforce to drive B2B Commerce implementations and ongoing enhancements. You will work across Catalogs, Pricing, Cart, and Inventory via configuration and code, while building Experience sites and integrating Salesforce with AWS.

The ideal candidate has strong Salesforce B2B/Experience Cloud experience, hands-on Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and modern web skills. You will participate in an agile team, mentor others, and help elevate end-user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4-6 years of Salesforce development experience, including at least 2 years in Salesforce B2B or Experience Cloud.
• Hands-on development with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
• Proficiency in CMS, Order Management and Salesforce development lifecycle.
• Web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Ability to gather requirements and present technical solutions to stakeholders.
• Agile/SCRUM experience and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Software Engineer - Salesforce

We are looking to hire Salesforce B2B Developer who will play a vital role at MillerKnoll. We are looking for a proactive individual who can help us to drive the implementation and ongoing enhancement of Salesforce B2B Commerce across the organization. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore, the Salesforce B2B Developer should have expertise in B2B Commerce and have experience designing user‑centric solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and engagement.
This role transcends organizational and geographical boundaries as it aims at supporting and enabling the various divisions of the MillerKnoll business across the globe. The ideal candidate should understand the software development lifecycle and use agile methodology to design, develop, test, and implement solutions that deliver on end‑user needs.

Responsibilities

• Build B2B Commerce solutions including Catalog, Pricing, Promotions, Cart, Search, Product Recommendations, Inventory Management, Order Management through configuration.
• Setup, build, and maintain Salesforce Experience sites.
  Use Salesforce APIs to integrate Salesforce with other systems across the organization. Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using AWS is a plus.
• Collaborating with Salesforce team to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).
  Adhere to Salesforce best practices and governor limits.
• Document solutions for future reference and incident deflection.
  Applies problem solving skills and executes solutions to problems independently.
• Assist Product Owners in defining new features and translating technical requirements.
• Clearly communicate status and open issues to development team and leads.
• Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
• Prototype and develop new ideas and participate in all parts of the lifecycle from research to release.
• Contribute to building a digital culture based on collaboration, inclusion, support, and constant improvement.
  Review the work of fellow engineers in a collegial fashion to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Participate in Communities of Practice in areas of development in which you have particular interest.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 4-6 years of Salesforce development experience, of which at least 2 years of Salesforce B2B development or Experience Cloud implementation work experience.
• Experience implementing Salesforce B2B or Experience Cloud solutions, including Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) implementations, with hands‑on development expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
• Proficient with CMS, Order Management and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
• General web development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
• Ability to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other Salesforce team members.
• Familiarity with Headless Commerce, Google Analytics and Salesforce‑AWS Integration.
• Drive change, including programs that improve developer productivity and reduce time to market.
• Aptitude to independently learn new technologies.
• Superior ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
• Well versed with unit testing & debugging techniques.

Desirable

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II, Experience Cloud Consultant, and Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer.
• Competency in other languages / development (JavaScript, SQL, REST/SOAP‑based web services, etc).
• Demonstrates continued personal/professional development.
  Active in the Salesforce community.
• This role will work in the shift timings of 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. IST. The employees could be requested to work in a different shift on rare occasions to support the business during a critical issue or for any releases/migrations that maybe scheduled. Location of work is Bangalore, India. Initial 6 months, until successful completion of probation period, employees will work from office and then transition to hybrid work model.
