Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a Senior Oracle Fusion AI Agent Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI agents within Oracle Fusion Cloud.

Qualifications

Position Summary

Engineering is a core discipline at F5 for many roles. As a software engineer specializing in products and services, you will bring a modern, agile development mindset to your work. As a Senior Oracle Fusion AI Agent Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI agents within Oracle Fusion Cloud that streamline and automate user processes across Order Management (OM), Revenue Management (RMCS), and Subscription Management (SMC). Incorporating engineering best practices into the design, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and support of agent-based solutions, you will work with other engineers, functional analysts, and business teams to develop new solutions and use the same rigor to refine existing solutions as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Apply modern engineering principles and practices to solution delivery and employ this rigor throughout the full software lifecycle; from initial concept and architecture through deployment, as well as while refining existing systems and solutions.
• Design, build, test, and deploy Oracle Fusion AI agents (using Oracle AI Agent Studio and related Fusion AI capabilities) that streamline user processes across Order Management, Revenue Management, and Subscription Management.
• Partner with business stakeholders and functional analysts to identify manual, repetitive, or error-prone order-to-cash and subscription processes and translate them into agent use cases, instructions, tools, and guardrails.
• Take ownership of complex technical problems and work with other engineers to find innovative solutions that meet both technical standards and business needs.
• Provide leadership in following engineering best practices, including all phases of the process from design to deployment.
• Design and implement integrations between Oracle Fusion applications, AI agents, and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, Oracle Integration Cloud, and ETL tools.
• Develop and maintain custom extensions and reporting for Fusion Cloud using tools such as Application Composer, BI Publisher/OTBI, and SQL.
• Define and apply testing, evaluation, and monitoring practices for AI agents, including accuracy, response quality, adoption, and business impact metrics.
• Implement security and responsible AI guardrails, including role-based access and data privacy controls, for agents operating on business data.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical design documents and scalable solutions.
• Proactively seek out opportunities for architectural improvements, optimizations, and innovations.
• Work with other engineers to identify areas for improvement, assess new Oracle AI capabilities and technologies, and help shape the direction of the organization’s technical roadmap.
• Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Intellectual curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset, including a strong interest in applied AI
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, specifically Order Management (OM), Revenue Management (RMCS), and Subscription Management (SMC).
• Experience building or configuring AI agents or generative AI solutions in Oracle Fusion Cloud (e.g., AI Agent Studio, agent teams, tools, and workflows), including prompt engineering and agent evaluation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing interfaces using REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud, FBDI, or middleware.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• An ability to break down complex problems, identify gaps and risks, and provide reliable level of effort estimates.
• Strong interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy and ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• The flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, requirements, and priorities.
• An excellent understanding of DevSecOps best practices and responsible AI, data privacy, and security principles.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years engineering experience in supporting or implementing Oracle applications, with recent experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud (OM, RMCS, SMC)
• Proven ability to develop and deliver software solutions.
• Advanced knowledge in several high-level languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) and SQL, plus experience with BI Publisher/OTBI; legacy Oracle EBS and PL/SQL experience is a plus.
• Oracle Fusion or Oracle AI certifications preferred.
• Experience working in agile and lean software development
