Job summary

ADCI - BLR 14 SEZ is seeking a Senior SDM to lead the development of software platform services around agentic AI technologies. The role requires steering strategy, scaling systems, and building a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

You will work across HW engineering processes, ML in physics initiatives, and data engineering, shaping the future of AI-powered solutions within Amazon Lab126's Devices organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment.

Design Technologies is the central software and AI platform team within Devices. We build intelligent, scalable systems that unify enterprise tools, streamline data driven decision making, and enabling engineering productivity across Devices organization. From automation to analytics, we serve as a tissue between tools, infrastructure, software applications – bringing AI powered efficiency to every layer of the engineering eco system.

We are looking for a Sr SDM responsible for building and delivering software platform services with a focus on next generation agentic technologies. The work will span across, high performance computing, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, License and Budget management systems, Data Engineering, ML in Physics initiatives. The person is responsible for strategy of this Org to scale the systems, build a strong team who will thrive in fast paced, collaborative and open environment.

Key job responsibilities

This team is considered strategic and has visibility across Amazon due to the expansion of our services. This role offers a chance to build and launch new AI services from ground up, learn the state of art in Machine Learning (ML) technology, and work closely with an exceptional group of engineering leaders. Your experience with HW engineering Processes, Methodologies and Engineering tools is an added advantage.
