Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on secured lending, preferably gold loans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive gold loan business growth.
• Conduct thorough credit appraisals and risk assessments of gold loan applicants to ensure adherence to lending policies.
• Evaluate the quality and authenticity of gold collateral in coordination with the appraisal team to mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies related to gold loan disbursement and recovery.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to design and implement targeted campaigns for gold loan products.
• Monitor loan repayment schedules and coordinate with the collections team to manage overdue accounts effectively.
• Provide expert advice to clients on gold loan products, interest rates, and repayment options to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Prepare detailed reports on portfolio performance, market trends, and competitor analysis for senior management review.
• Train and mentor junior relationship officers to enhance their skills in client management and product knowledge.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling other banking products and services to gold loan customers to maximize revenue.
