Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective gold loan customers to maximize portfolio growth and customer retention.
• Conduct thorough credit appraisals and risk assessments of gold loan applications in compliance with the bank’s policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with the credit and risk teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of gold loan disbursements and recoveries.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging market insights and customer feedback to enhance product offerings and competitive positioning.
• Provide expert guidance to customers on gold loan products, terms, and repayment options, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance metrics, preparing detailed reports for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate with internal teams including legal, compliance, and operations to ensure seamless loan processing and adherence to statutory requirements.
• Lead and mentor junior relationship officers and sales staff to build a high-performing team focused on achieving sales targets and operational excellence.
