Job summary

RekNomics is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to build and own the QA automation practice for a product from the ground up. This hands-on role covers a React Native mobile app (iOS & Android), APIs, and web applications, defining QA strategy, selecting the automation stack, and building scalable frameworks.

You will integrate testing into CI/CD, drive coding standards, and establish QA processes. 7-10 years of experience, strong automation skills, and the ability to work independently are

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of QA Automation / SDET experience.
• Experience building an automation framework or QA practice from scratch.
• Hands-on mobile automation using Appium, Detox, or Maestro.
• API test automation experience.
• Web automation using Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong hands-on coding and automation skills.
• Ability to independently define QA standards, tools, and processes.

What We're Looking For

• 7-10 years of QA Automation / SDET experience
• Proven experience building an automation framework or QA practice from scratch
• Hands-on mobile automation using Appium, Detox, or Maestro
• API test automation experience
• Web automation using Playwright or Cypress
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong hands-on coding and automation skills

Good to Have

• React Native testing experience
• Real-device or cloud device-farm testing
• Experience as a first/sole QA engineer
• JavaScript / TypeScript automation experience
