Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in mobile and web automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and managing automation frameworks using Appium, WebdriverIO, Selenium, and JavaScript, along with a strong understanding of API, performance, compatibility, and CI/CD testing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, manage, and implement core features within automation frameworks using Appium, WebdriverIO, Selenium, and JavaScript.
2. Design and develop scalable automation libraries and frameworks to support efficient test execution.
3. Collaborate closely with Developers and Engineering teams to achieve high levels of automation test coverage.
4. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS platforms.
5. Integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
6. Identify automation opportunities and improve overall test efficiency and coverage.
7. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to team members.
8. Contribute to a high-speed product development environment while maintaining quality and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Strong proficiency in Appium, WebdriverIO, and JavaScript.
2. Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
3. Strong understanding of OOPs concepts.
4. Hands-on experience with Appium for both Android and iOS platforms.
5. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.
6. Good knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
7. Hands-on experience working with databases.
8. Experience in API Testing using tools such as Postman, Charles, or Rest Assured.
9. Experience with browser and device compatibility testing.
10. Hands-on experience in performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
11. Experience with API request/response mocking.
12. Proven experience working in a fast-paced product development environment.

Good to Have

1. Experience with Selenium using Java or Python.
2. Experience with mobile app automation tools such as UFT, SeeTest, or Perfecto.
3. Knowledge of Groovy.
4. Experience integrating BrowserStack and Percy for browser/device compatibility testing.
5. Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
