Job summary

Appitsimple Infotek is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to write and maintain automated UI tests in Python within our established framework. You will review AI-generated tests, fix flaky selectors, and convert TestRail cases into automated tests.

The role involves debugging failures, running tests in CI/CD, and reporting results and coverage to ensure a reliable suite. The ideal candidate has strong Python skills, hands-on UI automation with Playwright or Selenium, and solid knowledge of web

Qualifications

• Strong test-code review ability.
• Solid Python proficiency for test scripting.
• Hands-on UI automation with Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Understanding of DOM, selectors, async/wait handling, browser behavior.
• Familiarity with page object model and clean test structure.
• Ability to write clear prompts/specs for AI-generated tests.
• Comfortable working within an existing framework and standards.
• Basic CI/CD familiarity (running & debugging tests in pipelines).
• Test management tools (TestRail a plus).
• Git proficiency.

• Review and harden AI-generated test code fix flaky tests, brittle selectors, and false positives before they ship
• Convert assigned manual test cases (from TestRail) into automated tests
• Debug failing tests and keep the suite green and trustworthy
• Run tests in our CI/CD pipeline and investigate failures
• Report test results, coverage, and defects clearly

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong test-code review ability you must reliably spot flaky, redundant, or incorrect tests in AI-generated code
• Solid Python proficiency for test scripting
• Hands-on UI automation with Playwright and/or Selenium
• Understanding of web fundamentals: DOM, selectors, async/wait handling, browser behavior
• Familiarity with page object model and clean, maintainable test structure
• Ability to write clear prompts/specs that produce correct AI-generated tests
