Aquamech Engg Corporation in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Sr. Project Efficiency Manager to own end-to-end execution of domestic and export projects. You will coordinate design, procurement and site teams for Hi-Purity Water Systems and pharma utilities, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with cGMP.

The role requires travel to domestic and overseas sites, strong client handling, and 8+ years of relevant experience, with a preference for pharma EPC/OEM backgrounds.

Formación

• 8+ years of project execution experience in pharma/Hi-Purity systems
• 5+ years on pharma projects with an EPC contractor or OEM
• Experience with Hi-Purity Water Systems and pharma utilities
• Knowledge of ASME BPE and hygienic piping is advantageous
• Familiarity with cGMP documentation including DQ, FAT, IQ/OQ

About the Role

The Sr. Project Efficiency Manager will own the execution of Aquamech's domestic and export projects from purchase order to handover. The scope covers Hi-Purity Water Systems such as PW, WFI, pure steam and their storage and distribution, pharma utilities such as air compressors, chillers, hot water and CIP systems, and on domestic projects, ETP and STP plants. The role is the single point of contact for the client and coordinates the design, procurement and execution teams to ensure every project is completed efficiently, within the given deadline or ahead of it.

Location: MIDC Mahape, Navi Mumbai

Work Mode: Full Time, office based with domestic and overseas site travel

Role & Responsibilities

• Take over projects from the proposals team after order receipt and review the contract, scope matrix, technical specifications and payment terms
• Coordinate with the design, procurement and execution teams to ensure the project is completed efficiently and within or before the given deadline
• Prepare and maintain the project execution plan, schedule and weekly progress reports for the client and management
• Coordinate with the design team on GA drawings, P&IDs and layouts, and track drawing submissions and client approvals
• Work closely with the in-house SS fabrication shop on fabrication priorities, inspection hold points and completion dates
• Coordinate with purchase on the procurement schedule for bought-out items such as compressors, chillers, pumps, instruments, panels and membranes, and expedite critical deliveries
• Plan despatch including packing, marking, transport and loading, and for export projects, coordinate seaworthy packing, container stuffing and shipping documents with accounts and the freight forwarder
• Arrange FAT with the client and manage installation, testing and commissioning at site through site engineers and subcontractors
• Execute Hi-Purity Water System projects including pretreatment, RO-EDI generation, WFI and pure steam generation, and SS 316L storage and distribution loops as per ASME BPE and cGMP requirements
• Execute pharma utility packages including compressed air, chilled and glycol water, hot water and CIP systems, from vendor engineering through installation and commissioning
• Prepare and execute IQ and OQ protocols and qualification documents as per cGMP and client QA requirements
• Control project cost against budget and raise variations and claims for scope changes
• Raise milestone invoices with accounts and follow up on collections
• Close out projects with as-built drawings, O&M manuals, handover documents and client sign-off

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• 10+ years of project execution experience, with at least 5 years on pharma projects with an EPC contractor or OEM
• Project execution experience in Hi-Purity Water Systems (PW, WFI, pure steam, RO-EDI, storage and distribution)
• Project execution experience in pharma utilities such as air compressors, chillers, glycol systems, hot water generators and CIP
• Working knowledge of ETP and STP processes and equipment for domestic projects
• Knowledge of ASME BPE, SS 316L hygienic piping, orbital welding, passivation and weld documentation
• Familiarity with cGMP documentation including DQ, FAT, SAT, IQ and OQ
• Hands-on experience managing fabrication teams, site teams, vendors and subcontractors
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera, and MS Excel
• Exposure to export projects, FIDIC contracts or overseas sites is an advantage
• Strong communication and client handling skills, and willingness to travel to domestic and overseas sites for extended periods
