Job summary

Raj Industries is seeking a senior process engineer to lead end-to-end process engineering and plant operations for a multi-product oleochemical facility in India. The role covers fat splitting, fatty acid distillation, glycerine refining, hydrogenation, crystallisation, evaporation and soap operations.

You will develop PFDs/P&IDs, heat/mass balances and equipment datasheets, drive techno-commercial estimation and energy optimisation, and use AutoCAD, Excel, Python/openpyxl and Power BI for

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical Engineering or Oils & Oleochemical Technology.
• 8–10 years of process engineering and plant operations experience.
• Experience in oleochemical processing and energy optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop/review PFDs, P&IDs, heat & mass balances, hydraulics, line sizing and equipment datasheets.
• Lead process design, revamps, expansions, proposal engineering and techno-commercial estimation.
• Design/rate heat exchangers, reboilers, condensers, vacuum systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot plant operations and improve yield, quality, reliability and process stability.
• Drive steam, energy and utility optimisation and quantify savings.
• Monitor KPIs, material/energy balances, MTTR/MTBF and support TQM/audit activities.
• Use AutoCAD, Advanced Excel, Python/openpyxl and Power BI for engineering and performance analysis.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, QA/QC and vendors.
