Job summary

Simform is seeking a Senior Power Platform Consultant in Ahmedabad to lead enterprise-grade Power Platform initiatives. You will architect, develop, and deploy Canvas/Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate Flows, and PAD-based RPA, while integrating Copilot Studio agents and MCP-driven interactions.

The role requires deep hands-on expertise, client-facing skills, and the ability to design scalable Dataverse architectures and secure integrations with REST APIs, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.

• Experience engaging with clients to understand requirements and translate to technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise apps using Power Apps Canvas/Model-Driven Apps.
• Build complex workflows with Power Automate Cloud Flows.
• Implement RPA solutions using Power Automate Desktop (PAD).
• Configure Copilot Studio agents and MCP-based integrations.
• Work with MCP for exposing tools/APIs to AI agents securely.
• Design Dataverse architecture including tables, security, and rules.
• Develop integrations via REST APIs, Custom Connectors, and Azure Functions.
• Implement ALM and multi-environment deployments in Power Platform.
• Ensure governance, DLP, and environment strategy for Power Platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert requirements into designs.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and guide junior developers.
• Participate in architecture reviews, PoCs, and client demos.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Power Platform Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have deep experience building enterprise‑grade solutions using Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Fx, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Automate Desktop (RPA), Copilot Studio, and MCP-based integrations.

The candidate should be capable of understanding business requirements, designing scalable solutions, implementing them end‑to‑end, and independently handling technical discussions with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise applications using Power Apps Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.

• Build complex workflows and business process automation using Power Automate Cloud Flows.

• Design and implement RPA solutions using Power Automate Desktop (PAD) for desktop, web, and legacy application automation.

• Build and configure Copilot Studio agents , including topics, actions, knowledge sources, authentication, integrations, and agent-to-system interactions.

• Work with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and related patterns to securely expose enterprise tools, APIs, and business capabilities to AI agents.

• Design scalable Dataverse architecture , including tables, relationships, security models, business rules, business process flows, auditing, and data modeling.

• Develop integrations between Power Platform and external systems using REST APIs, Custom Connectors, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, webhooks, and other integration mechanisms.

• Implement enterprise‑grade ALM , including Solutions, managed/unmanaged solutions, environment variables, connection references, pipelines, Azure DevOps/GitHub, and multi‑environment deployments.

• Understand Power Platform security, governance, environment strategy, DLP policies, licensing, monitoring, and performance optimization.

• Work directly with business stakeholders to convert requirements into functional and technical solution designs.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

• Participate in architecture discussions, technical reviews, estimations, PoCs, and client demonstrations.

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands‑on experience is expected in:

• Power Apps – Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps

• Microsoft Dataverse

• Power Automate – Cloud Flows , Power Automate Desktop (PAD/RPA)

• Copilot Studio / AI Agents , Model Context Protocol (MCP)

• Power Fx , Dataverse security and data architecture, Business Rules and Business Process Flows

• Custom Connectors, REST APIs and integration patterns

• Solutions and Power Platform ALM, Environment Variables and Connection References, Power Platform governance and DLP

• JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge for advanced Power Platform customization

• Azure integration knowledge, particularly Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Key Vault and Entra ID , is an advantage.

Good to Have

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service , including Cases, Queues, SLAs, Entitlements, Knowledge Management, routing, and agent experiences.

• Understanding of Dynamics 365 CE/CRM architecture and customization.

• Exposure to AI Builder, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, and Document Intelligence.

• Experience with enterprise-scale RPA and unattended automation.

• Experience working directly with international clients and distributed teams.

Certifications – Preferred
