Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in Bengaluru, India, invites an experienced Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and maintain canvas and model-driven apps, automating business processes with Power Automate, and integrating Dataverse, SharePoint and SQL data sources.

The role requires 5+ years in Power Platform development, strong UI/UX sensibility, and knowledge of RBAC and security policies. Certifications such as PL-400/PL-200 are preferred, with Agile experience a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
• Create automated workflows using Power Automate (cloud and desktop).
• Connect apps to Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL and third-party APIs.
• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into applications.
• Design intuitive UI/UX to maximize adoption.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize solutions for performance and security.
• Utilize Dataverse for data modeling.
• Ensure solutions comply with RBAC and data security policies.
• Produce technical docs and user guides.

Role Overview

• Job Title: Power Platform Developer - Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Core Focus: Developing canvas/model-driven apps and automating processes (Cloud/Desktop flows).
• Environment: Microsoft 365 / Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).

Key Responsibilities

• App Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) to replace manual or legacy processes.
• Automation: Create efficient automated workflows using Power Automate (both cloud and desktop flows) to streamline business processes and integrations.
• Data Integration: Connect apps to various data sources, including Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, and third-party APIs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business units to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into functional, user-friendly applications.
• UI/UX Design: Design intuitive user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) within Power Apps to maximize adoption.
• System Maintenance Support: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing solutions for performance and security.
• Data Modeling: Utilize Dataverse for advanced data modeling and management.
• Governance Security: Ensure developed solutions comply with company data security policies, including role-based access control (RBAC).
• Documentation Training: Create technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and training materials.

Required Technical Skills

• Expertise in Power Platform: Deep hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Microsoft Dynamics CRM, C#, JavaScript, PCF controls, GIT, .NET CRM Plugins, Connecting Power Platform with Azure, SSIS, SSRS, TFS
• Power Fx: Proficiency in using Power Fx formula language.
• Data Sources: Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint lists, and SQL.
• Connectors: Ability to build and use custom connectors.
• Intermediate Coding: Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, or JSON for extending functionality.
• Additional Tools: Experience with Power BI, Power Virtual Agents (Copilot Studio), and Microsoft Teams integration.

Working hours

• The candidate is required to work in the EU (European shift hours).

Qualifications Experience

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Power Platform development.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400), Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200), or App Maker (PL-100).
• Methodology: Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development practices.
