Job summary

Synechron seeks an experienced Sr Platform Engineer (AWS Cloud Engineer) to design, build, and migrate workloads to AWS. You will implement scalable architectures using VPCs, IAM, and managed services while optimizing for security and cost.

The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK, plus containerized deployments with ECS/EKS and AI services. You should bring 8+ years in AWS, strong Python skills, DevOps experience, and an AWS associate certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience with expert level knowledge in AWS.
• Experience migrating workloads to AWS and optimizing cost, security, and manageability.
• Must hold at least one Associate Level+ AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and migrate application workloads into AWS.
• Utilize core AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, EBS; VPC; Route53; RDS/Aurora; DynamoDB).
• Implement IAM, CloudWatch, and Security Groups for governance and cost control.
