ORMAE is hiring Sr. Operations Research Scientist

Requirement:

- Seeking a Lead OR Scientist with a strong analytics background to develop solutions for complex client problems.

- This is a leadership role; the candidate will lead and mentor a team of OR scientists.

- Must have 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale optimization solutions.

- Exposure to operations research algorithms and advanced analytics is essential.

- Experience with mathematical modeling, including column generation, cutting planes, and LP tools like Cplex, Gurobi, GAMS, and AMPL, is required. Knowledge of AIMMS is preferred.

Skills :

- Proven mentorship of OR teams.

- Ability to translate business problems into mathematical models. Experience with optimization and statistical software such as Cplex, Gurobi, Google OR-Tools, Arena, SAS, SPSS is preferred.

- Strong interest in OR algorithms related to routing, modeling, heuristics, forecasting, simulation, inventory, and supply chain management.

Additional skills:

- Programming experience in Python, Java, C#, C++, or R is preferred.

Education : Graduation or Master’s in Operations Research, Computer Science (with OR experience), Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or similar from a reputed institute.
