Overview

ORMAE is looking for Operations Research Scientist / Sr. Operations Research Scientist

ORMAE is an AI & Optimization company led by Dr. Amit Garg. ORMAE has 50+ global clients, including 12+ with $1B+ revenue, and has completed 100+ optimization and data science projects worldwide (USA, Germany, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Japan & India). Our services cover areas such as supply chain, logistics, health care, telecom, and retail.

We are a young, enthusiastic team focused on converting innovative digital business transformation ideas into optimization and data science solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver solutions for complex problems of clients by applying operations research methods and analytics.
• Design and implement complex/large-scale optimization solutions.
• Work with operations research algorithm design and implementation; advanced analytics experience is preferred.
• Develop mathematical models, including column generation, cutting plane, and LP tools such as Cplex, Gurobi, GAMS, and AMPL.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex/large-scale optimization solutions.
• Strong interest and ability to solve mathematical modeling problems; experience with routing optimization, mathematical modeling, meta-heuristics, heuristics, forecasting, simulation, inventory optimization, and supply chain management is preferred.
• Exposure to optimization and statistical software such as Cplex, Gurobi, Google OR-Tools, Arena, SAS, SPSS is preferred.
• Programming experience in Python/Java/C#/C++/R for optimization algorithms is preferred.
• Graduation or Masters in Operations Research, Computer Science (with operations research experience), Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field from a premium institute.
