Job summary

Teva is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Data Lake Operations, shaping the Databricks and Azure foundations that make AI and ML production-ready at scale. You will set standards, drive data governance, and partner with business and tech leadership to turn a sprawling data landscape into a trusted platform that teams want to build on.

Qualifications

• Min 10+ years experience with Delta Lake, lakehouse architecture, and data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality practices.
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL, with understanding of ML libraries.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD principles and automated pipelines.
• Strong understanding of API and web-service security, data security practices.
• Relational databases experience (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) with data modeling and query optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end engineering support across the data lifecycle, including data acquisition, organization, analysis, and delivery.
• Design scalable architectures for new data products, platform capabilities, and data solutions.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

Your Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, or other cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality practices.
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with streaming and event-driven technologies, such as Kafka or Azure Event Hubs.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and observability tools for data platforms.
• Strong hands‑on proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL, with a good understanding of machine learning libraries.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD principles and experience implementing automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Strong understanding of API and web‑service security, data security practices, and secure data engineering methods.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and across teams.
