The Amazon OpenSearch Core Foundation team owns the foundational indexing and search systems powering both OpenSearch Managed Service and Serverless offerings. We are building next-generation systems that support multiple data formats, diverse execution engines, and federated queries across heterogeneous data sources. As a Sr SDM, you will lead the team responsible for developing OpenSearch's next-generation indexing, storage, and metadata — delivering best-in-class price-performance for search and analytics workloads. You will drive the technical vision and execution for systems that serve both managed and Serverless customers at scale, shaping how millions of users index, store, and query their data.
