Job summary

HYT Engineering in Pune is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our shop floor operations for CNC machines and SPMs. You will drive production planning, supervise teams of supervisors and operators, and ensure on-time delivery, quality, and safety.

You will implement Lean, monitor OEE, manage PPAP and FMEA processes, and collaborate with Design, Purchase, Quality and Stores to optimize throughput.

• Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Ensure timely manufacturing and assembly of CNC Machines, VMC Machines, and SPMs.
• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Quality, Service, and Stores for smooth flow.
• Monitor fabrication, machining, assembly, fitting, and testing activities.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within timelines and quality standards.
• Improve production efficiency, machine utilization, and manpower productivity.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
• Handle PPAP documentation and process implementation where applicable.
• Conduct FMEA for process improvement and risk reduction.
• Implement Kaizen, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Reduce rejection, rework, breakdowns, and production losses.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and shop floor discipline.
• Prepare production reports and update management regularly on status.
• Resolve shop floor issues and support continuous operational improvement.

• Experience in handling leadership role on shop floor is mandatory.
