Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking an experienced Program/Project Manager for analytics within the Product Intelligence Hub. You will lead the master roadmap, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure timely delivery of insights through Agile/Waterfall methods.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of program or project management experience in analytics or data-driven environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, PM, Business Administration, or related technical field.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive master project roadmap for analytics initiatives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with governance frameworks (RACI/RAISC).
  • Drive end-to-end analytics projects using Agile/Waterfall methodologies for timely insights.
  • Monitor progress with MS Project and JIRA; identify and resolve risks or roadblocks.
  • Maintain transparent program dashboards and reports for real-time health visibility.
  • Manage budgeting and resource allocation; advise on scope-resource trade-offs.
  • Prepare and deliver regular program updates and executive presentations.
  • Facilitate governance meetings and steering reviews to align on progress and evolving requirements.

Job description

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by establishing clear communication channels and governance frameworks (RACI/RAISC) between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of analytics projects using appropriate project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall), ensuring timely delivery of actionable insights.
  • Monitor project progress through tools such as Microsoft Project and JIRA, proactively identifying and resolving risks or roadblocks.
  • Maintain transparent program status dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibility into project health and pipeline.
  • Manage budgeting and resource allocation, optimizing workforce utilization and advising on scope-resource trade-offs.
  • Prepare and deliver regular program updates and executive presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate governance meetings and steering reviews to align on progress, decisions, and evolving requirements.

Critical Must-Have Deliverables:

  • Master project roadmap aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Timely delivery of analytics insights to key stakeholders (Product Development, Marketing, Customer Care, Quality, Product Planning).
  • Effective risk management including a maintained risk register and mitigation strategies.
  • Transparent program status reporting with a single source of truth.
  • Budget adherence and optimized resource allocation.
  • Regular stakeholder communication and governance facilitation.
Experience
  • Minimum 7 years of program or project management experience in analytics or data-driven environments.
Industry Preferred
  • Automotive, Technology, Data Analytics, or related sectors with a focus on customer and product intelligence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Program management, Business Administration, or related technical field.

  • Establishment of a robust cross-functional team (CFT) environment that integrates field data with actionable insights.
  • Implementation of advanced project tracking dashboards for enhanced decision-making.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives for program management processes within the Hub.
  • Support for workforce planning and capacity forecasting beyond immediate project needs.


Competencies and Skills: Functional Competencies:

  • Expertise in program and project management within analytics or data science domains.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering, data science, and analytics workflows.
  • Proficiency in risk, budget, and resource management.

Tools and Techniques Used:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, JIRA, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with dashboard/reporting tools for program status visualization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.
