Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale manufacturing operations in an engineering or industrial environment.
  • Significant experience managing cross-functional teams and complex operational challenges.
  • Experience in production planning, process optimization, quality management, and operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing performance.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve production, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Monitor production schedules, capacity utilization, material consumption, and equipment effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing manufacturing organization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
  • Coach and mentor leaders across operations and support functions.
  • Drive workforce capability development through effective training and succession planning.
  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Lead safety audits, risk assessments, and corrective action programs.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Develop and manage plant operating budgets.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality, safety, and customer service standards.
  • Monitor operational expenses and resource utilization to maximize profitability.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Human Resources, and Commercial teams to support business objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on plant performance, key initiatives, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives, capacity expansion, and operational transformation programs.

About The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping manufacturing strategy, delivering business objectives, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing performance.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve production, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Monitor production schedules, capacity utilization, material consumption, and equipment effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
People Leadership
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing manufacturing organization.
