Job summary

Kovilpatti Lakshmi Roller Flour Mills in Tamil Nadu is seeking a Head of Finance to oversee end-to-end accounting, finalize financial statements, and ensure statutory compliance. You will manage audits, budgeting, and banking relationships while leading the accounts team.

Strong knowledge of Ind AS/IGAAP and ERP systems is essential. The role requires strategic financial input for decision-making and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including books of accounts, ledgers, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.

• Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors; ensure smooth completion of audits.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts team; ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including books of accounts, ledgers, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing
• Prepare and finalize financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IGAAP)
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other regulatory filings
• Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors; ensure smooth completion of audits
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and variance analysis for management review
• Monitor working capital, cash flow, and fund management
• Review and strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and accounting policies
• Supervise costing and cost control initiatives, particularly for manufacturing operations
• Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and external stakeholders for funding, credit facilities, and compliance matters
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts team; ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Support leadership with financial analysis for strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act and other applicable corporate laws
