Job summary

Contactx Resource Management in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Finance & Accounts Leader to supervise the accounts team, manage GST/TDS compliance, and prepare timely financial statements for an MSME manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting expertise, proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems, strong analytical abilities, and a track record of improving controls and reporting while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Accounting, GST, TDS & Compliance.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in MSME Manufacturing Engineering companies preferred.
• Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership.
• Candidates with team-handling experience will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle GST & TDS return preparation and filing independently.
• Manage ledger scrutiny, bank/GL reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly closing.

• Coordinate with auditors and support semi-annual audits.
• Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting systems.
• Analyse financial data and resolve accounting issues.
• Train and mentor team members.
