Job summary

Intas Pharmaceuticals seeks a seasoned Sr. Manager - LLM to lead end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations.

You will drive finished goods procurement, vendor development, and contract negotiations to optimize cost and ensure uninterrupted supply in a fast-paced pharma environment. Based at Head Office, Ahmedabad, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust procurement strategies, enhance supplier performance, and manage risk across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of procurement experience in pharma.
• Strong P2P and loan license procurement expertise.
• Proven vendor development and sourcing strategies.
• Contract negotiation and cost optimization.
• Supply chain risk assessment and mitigation.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and vendor management systems.
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Supply Planning: Manage procurement of finished products (P2P and loan license) and ensure timely replenishment at optimal cost.
• Vendor Management & Development: Identify, evaluate, onboard vendors; build strong supplier relationships; drive negotiations.
• Purchase Operations: Create, release, and track POs; follow up with vendors for timely delivery and issue remediation.

Job Description

Purpose of Job

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic procurement professional to lead end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations. The role requires strong expertise in pharmaceutical procurement, vendor management, and supply chain optimization, with a focus on cost efficiency and timely availability of materials.

Roles and Responsibilites

• Procurement & Supply Planning
  • Manage procurement of finished products (P2P and loan license).
  • Ensure timely replenishment of materials at optimal cost, maintaining continuity of supply.
  • Determine appropriate order quantities and delivery schedules based on demand planning.
• Vendor Management & Development
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors; develop alternate vendor sources.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure performance, quality, and reliability.
  • Drive contract negotiations to achieve favorable commercial terms.
• Purchase Operations
  • Handle Purchase Order (PO) creation, release, and tracking.
  • Ensure effective follow-up with vendors for timely delivery and adherence to agreed timelines.
  • Work closely with vendors to address supply disruptions and performance issues.
