Job summary

Intas Pharmaceuticals seeks an Assistant Manager - SCM to lead launch planning and execution for new products across export markets. You will coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, Artwork, Sourcing, IT, R&D, Manufacturing, QA/QC, and International Marketing to ensure on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, regulatory dossier tracking, and risk mitigation to meet timelines and market entry goals. A pharmacy degree with MBA is preferred, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Pharmacy (MBA preferred).
• Strong project management skills; PMP certification is a plus.
• Exposure to regulated markets (US, EU, UK, Canada) is highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical production and regulatory pathways.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel dashboards).
• Proficiency in SAP IBP and MS Power BI preferred.
• Strong analytical and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• New Product Launch Project Planning & Execution across export markets.
• Cross-functional coordination between Regulatory Affairs, Artwork/Studio, Sourcing, IT, R&D, Manufacturing, QA/QC, Marketing.
• Regulatory & Dossier Management with regulatory affairs for dossiers and country requirements.
• Product Development Oversight including tech transfer, validation, stability studies.
• Launch Readiness covering packaging development and go-to-market strategies.
• Risk Management identifying risks and mitigation strategies to avoid delays.
• Stakeholder Communication with regular dashboards and milestones.
• Portfolio & Pipeline Management across geographies.

Job Description:

Purpose of Job

• On-time product launch rate (OTIF)
• Cycle time reduction from product approval to commercialization
• Cross-functional adherence to project timelines
• Successful entry into target markets

Roles and Responsibilites

1. New Product Launch Project Planning & Execution

• Manage detailed project plans for new product launches across export markets
• Define timelines, milestones, and deliverables aligned with business goals
• Track progress and ensure adherence to launch timelines

2. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Act as a central point of coordination between:
• Regulatory Affairs
• Artwork / Studio Team
• Sourcing and Procurement
• IT and Technical assistance team
• R&D / Formulation Development
• Manufacturing / Supply Chain
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control
• International Marketing / Business Development
• Drive accountability and timely completion of deliverables

3. Regulatory & Dossier Management

• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to track progress of dossier review at Agency
• Maintain awareness of country-specific regulatory requirements (USFDA, MHRA, EU, ROW markets, etc.)

• Monitor development activities including:
• Tech transfer
• Exhibit / validation batches
• Stability studies
• Ensure alignment with filing and launch timelines

2. Launch Readiness

• Ensure commercial readiness including:
• Packaging development (multi-country compliance)
• Artwork approvals
• Support go-to-market strategies in coordination with business teams

3. Risk Management

• Identify project risks and bottlenecks proactively
• Develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays in launch timelines

4. Stakeholder Communication

• Provide regular status updates to reporting manager
• Prepare dashboards and reports on project progress, risks, and critical milestones

5. Portfolio & Pipeline Management

• Support prioritization of pipeline products based on market potential and feasibility
• Maintain visibility of the entire launch pipeline across geographies
