Qualifications

• MHA / MBA in Hospital & Healthcare Management.
• Six Sigma / NABH assessor certification an advantage.

• Own bed management and admission–discharge cycle to maximise occupancy.
• Oversee facility management, engineering, housekeeping, F&B, security and transport.
• Ensure NABH / JCI readiness, audits and CAPA closure.
• Prepare Capex / Opex budgets and drive cost optimisation and billing accuracy.
• Analyse patient feedback and dashboards to improve patient experience.
• Drive OPD/IPD growth and support marketing health outreach.

About the Role

Lead end-to-end hospital operations at Seven Hills Hospital across OPD, IPD and non-clinical support services — driving a seamless patient journey, service quality, accreditation compliance and operational efficiency. Reports to Head – Non-Clinical Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across OPD and IPD — patient flow, registration, consultation flow, waiting times and contact centre performance.
• Own bed management and the admission-to-discharge cycle to maximise occupancy and reduce length of stay and discharge TAT.
• Oversee non-clinical support services: facility management, engineering, housekeeping, laundry, F&B, security, transport and waste management.
• Ensure service uptime through preventive maintenance, AMC compliance and rapid breakdown response.
• Manage vendors and outsourced partners through SLAs, reviews and audits; oversee procurement and inventory efficiency.
• Ensure statutory, regulatory and accreditation compliance; drive continuous NABH / JCI readiness, internal audits and CAPA closure.
• Implement patient and staff safety, infection control, fire & life safety and emergency preparedness protocols.
• Prepare and track Capex / Opex budgets; drive cost optimisation, billing accuracy, GoP settlements and P&L targets.
• Analyse NPS, patient feedback and operational dashboards to resolve issues and improve patient experience.
• Drive growth in OPD footfalls, IPD admissions and service utilisation; support marketing initiatives and health outreach programmes.
• Plan manpower, set performance goals, build capability and develop a strong second line.
• Drive digitisation, automation and process improvement in partnership with IT teams.

Candidate Profile

• MHA / MBA in Hospital & Healthcare Management (or equivalent); Six Sigma / NABH assessor certification an advantage.
• Sr Manager: 8–12 yrs in hospital operations with 3+ yrs in a managerial role.
• DGM: 12–16 yrs with 5+ yrs in an independent operations leadership role.
• GM: 16+ yrs leading OPD, IPD and non-clinical services in a large multi-speciality / tertiary care hospital.
• Hands-on experience in bed management, support services, budgeting and accreditation cycles.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, financial acumen and HIS / SAP proficiency.
