Job summary

Right Hire Mumbai seeks a Sr Manager/AGM - Civil Design Engineer to lead a team of design engineers for Petro Retail networks in Navi Mumbai. You will guide civil structural and underground design, review drawings with consultants, and engineer projects to meet business requirements.

You will develop standard drawings and specifications, ensure timely deliverables per HSSE norms, and stay abreast of new design developments. Training and asset reliability improvements are also expected.

Qualifications

• Senior civil engineering leadership experience required.
• Expertise in civil structural and underground design.
• Experience reviewing drawings with consultants.
• Ability to develop standard drawings and specifications.
• HSSE awareness and compliance.
• Ability to guide and train engineers.
• Strong communication with project managers and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Design Engineers for Petro Retail network.
• Oversee civil structural and underground design, RCC portions.
• Guide engineers on civil design, ensure deliverables and guide consultants.
• Interact with consultants on drawing reviews.
• Engineer and implement projects to meet business requirements.
• Develop standard engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure timely deliverables per quality and HSSE norms.
• Incorporate new design developments and industry advances.
• Stay updated on technology and industry trends.
• Resolve queries from project managers, sites and authorities.
• Develop training modules and in-house competency.
• Enhance productivity through people development.
• Promote HSSE-focused design practices and safety checks.
• Carry out root-cause analysis of failures and implement corrective actions.
• Improve asset reliability and productivity.

We've been retained by one of the leading multi - billion into oil & gas to fulfil its manpower requirement. And currently, were scouting for Sr Manager/AGM - Civil Design Engineer to be based out in DKAC, Navi Mumbai.

• Lead team of Design Engineers for Petro Retail network.
• Domain Experties - civil structural & underground design, civil RCC portion
• Guide Civil Enggs on civil design work, ensuring quality of deliverables, guiding consultants etc
• Interaction with consultant on review of drawings

• Engineer and implement projects to meet business requirements
  • Develop standard engineering drawings / specifications based on design basis
  • Timely deliverables as per agreed norms of quality and HSSE
  • Incorporate new developments in design and standards
  • Stay abreast of developments in technology / industry / competition
  • Resolve queries received from Project managers, Sites, Statutory authorities etc.

• People development for enhanced capability & productivity
  • Developing training modules and conduct training programs
  • Create in house competency to meet all engineering needs

• Bring focus and continually improve practices related to HSSE
  • Review & incorporate safety aspects /checks in existing designs & ensure awareness by available communication avenues.
  • Perform root cause analysis of accidents / near miss reports; implement corrective actions to avoid recurrence.

• Asset management to enhance reliability & productivity
  • Carry out root cause analysis of failures and provide optimum solutions to enhance reliability
