Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Hyderabad seeks an engineer to perform system-level power and performance analysis for the target power team. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify power challenges and enable system-level power features through software solutions to optimize battery life.

General Summary:

Qualcomm target power team works on achieving industry leading power optimized solution on Qualcomm IoT targets. In this position, the candidate will need to perform system level power and performance analysis. Candidate will be working with cross-functional teams to analyze and identify power challenges, enable system level power features, drive debugging/analysis to identify and provide SW solution to optimize battery power consumptions.

Skills/Experiance:

Embedded Linux Systems background with a good understanding of upstream code, Yocto and Ubuntu framework. Understanding of microprocessor architecture and common SoC hardware blocks (Interconnects, Display, Graphics, Mulimedia), Strong knowledge of Linux tool chain, build envoirnment, and hands on experiance in perfomance analysis. Awareness of systems concepts like scheduling, memory management and device drivers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Education Requirements:

M.Tech/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electorinics&Communication or related field with 5+ year of relevant work experience
