Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Hyderabad seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our embedded software team. You will drive device bring-up, platform initialization, and hardware enablement, and work on low-level driver development with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in embedded software, strong C/C++ skills, and a solid understanding of processor architectures, memory management, and power management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong programming in C/C++ and low-level driver development.
• Knowledge of embedded system architecture, device drivers, and hardware interfaces.
• Familiarity with memory management, cache optimization, MMU, clock management, PMIC, interrupts and DMA.
• Experience with UART, SPI, I2C/I3C, GPIO, USB, PCIe and storage interfaces (UFS/eMMC/SD).
• Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG/Lauterbach.

General Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Engineer to join our embedded software team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in low-level driver development, embedded system architecture, and hardware-software interaction. The role involves debugging, and optimizing software components for next-generation embedded platforms. The candidate should possess a solid understanding of processor architecture, memory management, cache behavior, clocking systems, power management, and peripheral interfaces. Experience working closely with hardware teams during SoC bring-up, platform validation, and issue debugging is highly desirable.

Minimum Qualifications:
