Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Lead Consultant to join our cloud and digital technology practice. The role requires strong experience in SAP Basis, S/4HANA, and 24x7 operations across multiple Indian cities.

You will lead system provisioning, upgrades, and monitoring, with exposure to BODS, SLT, HA/DR, and cloud integrations. Excellent communication and a self-starter attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Any Graduate required.
• 12+ years SAP Basis experience preferred.
• Experience in 24x7 operations and team work.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP BASIS operations in 24x7 support environment.
• Manage SAP S/4HANA upgrade and maintenance tasks.
• Oversee BODS, Data Services, and SLT integrations.
• Coordinate Linux server provisioning and monitoring.
• Configure SAP Solution Manager and monitoring tools.
• Plan HA/DR, backup/restore strategies.
• Experience with public cloud administration.
• Strong communication skills and self-motivated attitude.

Job Summary

• SAP Basis Consultant with 12+ years’ experience.
• Experience of working in 24x7 operations and should be a team player
• Good experience of SAP Refresh on HANA DB.
• Need good experience on SAP S4HANA support.
• Expertise in SAP system provisioning.
• Expertise in SAP Add-on upgrade, Support package upgrade
• Good experience on handling issue related to BODS, Data Services and SLT.
• Knowledge of Cloud connectors.
• Expertise in Solution Manager basic configuration like managing SLD, LMDB, EWA, Managed system configuration and technical monitoring.
• Knowledge of SAP HA/DR and backup/restore technologies
• Experience in handling public and private cloud administration
• Expert knowledge in System Monitoring, system performance, SAP software logistics, client copy, and ABAP system setup are a must
• Expert knowledge in Linux environment
• Understanding of cloud architecture is must
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a positive can-do & self-starter attitude.
• Experience with Public cloud is must. Certification will be an added advantage.
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, Perl) will be an added advantage
• Knowledge is other DevOps tools for automation will be preferred.
