Overview

As a Senior Java Microservice Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. This position involves building robust Java-based microservices, integrating with external platforms, and supporting mission-critical systems across cloud and on-premises environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to architecture and solution design, and leverage modern DevOps practices to ensure continuous delivery and operational excellence. The role offers the opportunity to innovate and drive technical improvements while working in a dynamic and fast-paced technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE microservices and enterprise applications
• Build and consume REST, SOAP, and XML web services for integration across multiple platforms and business partners
• Collaborate with architecture and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available solutions
• Deploy applications to cloud and on-premises environments, with experience in WebLogic, AWS, and automated pipelines
• Implement messaging solutions using JMS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ and ensure efficient multithreaded application processing
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across services and integrations
• Participate in code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers
• Contribute to CI/CD processes using Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent automation tools
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to improve development standards and solution quality

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java development with expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing Java microservices architecture
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST, SOAP, and XML web services
• Experience with messaging systems such as JMS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and database integration
• AWS hands-on experience with preferred certifications in cloud technologies
• Experience with automated deployment and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform
• Solid understanding of multithreaded, distributed, and enterprise-level application architectures
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
