Owision AB in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team on a hybrid basis. You will design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Core Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and microservices, collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an Agile setup.

The ideal candidate has 7–15 years of hands-on experience, strong testing discipline with JUnit 5 and Mockito, and a passion for scalable architectures, CI/CD, and cloud-friendly deployments.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with 7–15 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and microservices architecture.

This is a hybrid work role based out of Bangalore, suitable for someone who is technically strong, collaborative, positive, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and support scalable microservices-based applications.
• Work with Kafka for event‑driven communication and messaging.
• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit 5 and Mockito.

Required Technical Skills:
