Lummus Technology is seeking a skilled Workday Integrations Specialist to design, develop, and support Workday integrations across Talent & Performance, Compensation, and HCM modules. You will work with stakeholders to ensure seamless Workday to third‑party connectivity using REST/SOAP APIs and XSLT.

Responsibilities include configuring integrations, troubleshooting issues, and leading QA/training efforts. Strong knowledge of HR processes and Workday security modeling is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in HR, IT, or related field.
• Hands-on with Workday HCM modules and integrations.
• Experience with Workday upgrades/patch management is a plus.

In this role, you will be responsible for participating in the integration, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of Talent & Performance, Compensation, Human Capital Management (HCM) module solutions. Designing, developing, and deploying CCW, EIB, and Studio integrations using XSLT and SOAP/REST APIs to enable seamless Workday‑to‑third‑party connectivity. You will work closely with Compensation, HR, Talent Management, & Recruiting stakeholders to understand HR processes and ensure the effective use of Workday to meet the organization’s needs.

  • Work with different data formats and technologies including XML, XSLT, JSON, CSV, REST, SOAP, SFTP, and Web Services.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Integration System Security Groups (ISSG) and integration security requirements.
  • Perform integration troubleshooting using Integration Events, Process Monitor, audit files, error logs, and Workday reports
• Participating in the Workday Integration, Configuration and continued support:
  • Participate in the integrating, configuration Workday Integrations, Reporting, and Business Process configuration. Support ongoing system enhancements, patches.
  • Strong hands‑on configuration experience in Performance Reviews, Goals, Talent Management, Talent Pools, Succession Planning, Succession pool, Calibration, 9 Box, Talent review, Talent Matrix.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Workday system, ensuring minimal disruption to HR processes.
  • Handling any queries related to integration and ensuring that all closed defects and change requests are addressed within the designated timeframe.
• Process Improvement:
  • Collaborate with HR teams to streamline processes and optimize the use of Workday Recruiting.
  • Provide recommendations for best practices and solutions based on business needs.
  • Configure and optimize Talent & Performance, Compensation, Recruiting & HCM modules including Hiring Business Processes, Candidate Reviews, and Security Modeling to align with business requirements.
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
  • Lead system testing for new configurations, features, and updates to ensure the system is functioning as expected.
  • Perform end‑user testing and validate system processes after updates or changes.
• User Training & Documentation:
  • Develop training materials and provide training sessions to HR staff and other end users.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of Workday configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaboration with IT & External Vendors:
  • Work with IT and other stakeholders to ensure proper system integration with other HR and business systems.
  • Collaborated with cross‑functional teams across Recruiting, global compensation, Core HCM, and Security to ensure seamless end‑to‑end process integration.
  • Liaise with Workday support teams or external vendors to resolve technical issues or implement new features.
• Data Management & Reporting:
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics in Workday to provide HR and business leaders with relevant insights.
  • Ensure data integrity within the Workday Recruiting & HCM systems and perform regular audits.
  • Ensure that all quality requirements described in the QMS manuals are followed and any changes, as necessary, are reported through the change management procedure for continual improvement.

Basic Requirements

• Master’s degree in human resources, Business, IT, or a related field.
• Experience working with Workday HCM modules, particularly in Talent & Performance, Recruiting, Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll.
• Hands‑on experience with Workday configuration, security, and reporting.
• Experience with Workday upgrades and patch management is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HR business processes and best practices.
• Experience with Workday Recruiting & HCM configuration tools and security settings.
• Proficiency in Workday reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Workday Report Writer, Prism Analytics).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with HR, IT, and business teams.
• Workday HCM certification (e.g., Core HCM) is preferred.
• Experience with Workday integrations or third‑party HR systems.
• Knowledge of HR compliance and regulations.
