Job summary

Design Consultants Architect in Maharashtra seeks an experienced Senior Interior Designer to conceptualise, develop, and execute interior design solutions for residential, commercial, or institutional projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture.
• 5–8 years of proven experience in interior design execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and design software such as SketchUp, Photoshop, or Revit (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of interior design detailing, materials, services integration, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and team coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with in-house team on design and execution assignments.
• Conduct site visits, take accurate measurements, and prepare detailed site reports.
• Develop multiple design layout alternatives based on client briefs and project requirements.
• Finalise interior layouts through iterative design discussions with clients and team leads.
• Understand and incorporate MEP services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire‑fighting) into design proposals.
• Coordinate and manage communication with service consultants (Electrical, HVAC, etc.) for accurate integration of services.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, working drawings, and specifications for execution.
• Collect and verify consultant layouts and ensure they align with the final design.
• Maintain proper records and documentation using standard filing systems (digital and physical).
• Refrain from discussing project costs, contractor rates, or commercial aspects unless specifically instructed.
• Provide daily updates and progress reports to the Project Head or Director.
• Take on any additional tasks or responsibilities relevant to your role as assigned.
