Job summary

Vvdn Technologies is seeking an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to lead design and development of high-power converter systems in Gurugram. The role requires deep knowledge of PFC, LLC, Full-Bridge and SiC/GaN devices, along with hands-on lab skills.

You will collaborate with hardware teams to optimize EMI/EMC, thermal management, and reliability across kW to multi-kW power platforms. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in high-power electronics / power converter design and development.
• Strong knowledge of high-power AC-DC, DC-DC and DC-AC converters.
• Hands-on experience with PFC, LLC, Full-Bridge, Phase-Shifted Full-Bridge, Buck/Boost and Inverter topologies.
• Strong knowledge of MOSFET, IGBT, SiC and GaN power devices and gate drivers.
• Experience in high-power magnetics, DC-link capacitors, snubbers, thermal management and component selection.
• Proficiency in LTspice, PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscope, power analyzer, electronic load and spectrum analyzer.
• Good understanding of EMI/EMC, creepage, clearance and electrical safety standards.
• Strong hardware debugging, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with kW to high-kW power systems and SiC-based converters is preferred.
