Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Senior Finance SME - General Accounting (IC) in Gurugram. You will manage the General Ledger, month-end close, cash controls, AR/AP oversight, and deliver accurate property financial statements with variance analyses.

The role requires strong analytics, P&L and balance sheet understanding, and experience with ERP JD1. You will interact with clients and support reporting initiatives in a fast-paced real estate finance environment.

Qualifications

• Strong GL month end background with exposure to FP&A.
• Experience with profit & loss analysis and balance sheet overview.
• Knowledge of real estate accounting is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP JD1 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive General Ledger and month-end close processes.
• Prepare timely monthly property financial statements with variance analysis.
• Perform budget vs actual and forecast vs actual analysis.
• Support client reporting, automation and data integrity initiatives.

Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades, and technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, we empower you to shape a brighter way forward so you can thrive professionally and personally.Senior Finance SME - General Accounting (IC)Client Finance - JLL Business Service (Gurugram)What this job involves:What this job involves –Responsible for comprehensive General Ledger management including month-end close processes (accruals, payment bookings, variance analysis), cash management, bank reconciliations, AR/AP oversight, preparation of timely and accurate monthly property financial statements with supporting documentation, detailed forecast analysis comparing Budget versus Actual and Forecast versus Actual spending for large real estate portfolios, and development of expert-level proficiency in real estate accounting software while meeting all Client Accounting Services and external client deadlines.Annual Budget planning preparation and development; and be responsible day to day reporting and forecasting activities for assigned portfolio.Monthly end close and Quarterly Report AnalysisAssist leaders in researching and identifying budget corrections and work with others to implement changeComplete and support regular and ad-hoc reporting including informal and formal internal and documents, reports, graphs, charts, and presentations.Support team’s efforts to develop efficient reporting strategies including automation and simplification of reporting processes while preserving data integrityMaintain working knowledge of Master Services Agreement and any relevant amendments or appendicesSupport and track client billing activitiesAssist with the calculation of fees (i.e., Management and Incentive) as needed.Organize and maintain team data collection, reporting and communication.Participate in the development and distribution of best practices, process documentation, and user support materials for reporting.Analyze performance data to forecast/trend.Support cost-savings and process improvement initiativesProvide discrete and confidential handling of sensitive informationundefinedSounds like you?
