Candidate should be Chartered Accountant.

• Should have prior experience of handling a mid-sized finance & accounts department.
• Should have knowledge about accounting practices pertaining to public trust and relevant income tax laws.
• Should have experience of handling accounting of multiple business units.
• Candidates must have experience of working in a similar capacity in an educational institution.
• Candidate should be a Chartered Accountant on or before 2009 till 2014.
• Top Leadership level experience is must.
• Experience in Income Tax, Investment, setting new policies and cash flow.
• Should have experience working as Finance Controller.
• Should have experience in leading a team of at least 20 people.
• Leadership of GM Finance & Senior Management experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in reporting to the top management.
• Experience of Liaisoning with Statutory Compliance and regulatory authorities.
• Budget preparation and monitoring by comparing the budgetary provisions with actual expenditure.
• Preparation and submission of regular MIS to management.
• Monitoring fee payment by students, taking timely action on outstanding fees, fee reconciliation.
• Responsible for conducting statutory and internal audits.
• Initiate and sustain cost control measures.
• Handling tax-related matters and representation to tax authority.
• Tax & Statutory Compliances.
• Liaisoning with stakeholders like bank authorities, government offices, major suppliers, contractors & business partners.
• Monitoring financial viability of all proposals, agreements and providing inputs to management.
• Providing guidance and support to team members to achieve timely completion of tasks and ensuring accuracy.
• Financial data, presentations, and analysis to be submitted to the management.

To oversee smooth functioning of the department by establishing sound accounting processes.
