Job Description – Finance SME (NetSuite)

Role Overview

The Finance SME will lead finance process design and implementation for a multi-company NetSuite deployment within a Life Sciences environment. The role will define future-state financial processes, support solution design, and ensure alignment with accounting standards and corporate reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Process Leadership

• Lead design workshops for Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Define chart of accounts, financial dimensions, and reporting structures.
• Support consolidation strategy for acquired companies.

NetSuite Functional Leadership

• Design and validate NetSuite financial configurations.
• Support implementation of:
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Fixed Assets
• Cash Management
• Revenue Recognition
• Multi-Entity Accounting

Data Migration

• Define migration requirements for:
• Fixed assets
• Vendor and customer masters

Testing & Training

• Lead UAT activities.
• Develop finance process documentation and training materials.
• Support cutover and hypercare activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA, CMA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years of finance transformation or ERP implementation experience.
• 5+ years of NetSuite Finance implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial consolidation and multi-subsidiary environments.
