Job summary

GSS Tech Group is seeking an experienced Senior Product Engineer with deep Finacle Retail Assets knowledge to lead development, production support, defect resolution, and change delivery across Retail Assets applications.

You will mentor a team of 10–15 engineers, drive CRs, automate initiatives, manage incidents, and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure compliant, stable platforms.

Job description

We are looking for an experiencedSenior Product Engineerwith strong expertise inFinacle Retail Assets, Finacle Scripting, and FCRMto lead development, production support, defect resolution, and change delivery across Retail Assets applications. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on technical expertise in Finacle Retail Assets, experience leading teams, and a strong background in handling production incidents, automation, and regulatory enhancements.

The candidate will play a key role in delivering Change Requests (CRs), production fixes, automation initiatives, and platform stability while collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple business entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead defect fixing activities forRetail Assets Automation Testing.
• Lead delivery ofRetail Assets Change Requests (CRs)and project implementations.
• Design, develop, configure, and implement enhancements within theFinacle Retail Assetsmodule.
• Lead configuration, testing, deployment, and support of Finacle Retail Assets enhancements, upgrades, and regulatory changes.
• Manage production stability by monitoring critical incidents and ensuring timely resolution.
• Perform production issue analysis, triage, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Drive initiatives to reduce recurring production defects and improve platform stability.
• Own and improve automation testing coverage for the Retail Assets module.
• Lead stabilization initiatives across multiple business entities and regional platforms.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, QA teams, production support teams, and project teams throughout the SDLC.
• Ensure timely delivery of production fixes, enhancements, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and lead a technical team of approximately10–15 engineers.
• Provide technical guidance during solution design, code reviews, testing, and production releases.
• Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, coding standards, and release governance.

Required Skills

• Hands‑on experience in automation testing for Finacle applications.
• Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Experience working on regulatory and compliance-related enhancements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Leadership Experience

• Prior experience managing or leading a technical team of10–15 engineers.
• Experience handling production support, CR delivery, and release management.
• Ability to drive technical decisions and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large‑scale banking or financial services environments.
• Experience supporting multiple banking entities or international implementations.
