Job summary

Kohler India is seeking a Sr. Executive - Purchasing to deliver global purchasing services with a focus on data governance and master data accuracy.

You will coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure compliant, timely agreement execution and data integrity across enterprise systems. The role emphasizes process improvement, secure data handling, and audit readiness, with a strong emphasis on governance and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in global purchasing and data governance.
• Strong data quality, master data management and reporting.
• Proficiency with SAP and advanced Excel.

Job Description

• Deliver Global Purchasing Services in an excellent manner.
• Receiving agreement requests from the users, reviewing the request, selecting the approved format for the agreement, initiating the agreement with supplier.
• Coordinate with Buyers, Suppliers, and other Stakeholders to get the necessary information for agreement execution.
• Ability to improve continually in purchasing systems and process implementation.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance by maintaining accurate supplier, material, and sourcing master data across enterprise systems.
• Establish and enforce data governance standards, controls, and audit readiness processes to support regulatory and business requirements.
• Lead data quality improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and process standardization to enhance sourcing data accuracy and operational effectiveness.
• Manage relations with the stakeholders and be a customer advocate for all the assigned global purchasing support areas.
• Manage workload and actively follows-up on outstanding items and approvals required to perform the task, as necessary.
• Develop and sustain a high performance and deliverable, focused culture within the team
• Implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling, processing, and analysis with attention to all technical aspects.
• Ensure the required data is processed within set time limits, reports are extracted and shared with the teams concerned as per defined frequency and methods.
• Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibility, and checking output.
• Establish rules and procedures for presenting the data, trends, and dashboards with internal & external stakeholders
• Evaluating and drafting reports concerning data findings.
• Reporting the data processing, extracting challenges to the supervisor / manager in a timely manner
