Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Inc. Surendranagar, Gujarat, is seeking an experienced procurement professional to ensure cost-effective, timely and quality acquisition of goods and services.

You will lead supplier and vendor management, negotiate contracts, manage purchase orders, track inventory, analyze market trends and prepare procurement reports. Six days of work per week with opportunities for growth and employee benefits.

Job Summary

This incumbent manages an organization's procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and quality acquisition of goods and services. Key responsibilities include vendor selection, negotiating contracts, managing purchase orders, and tracking inventory levels. Maintain records, analyze market trends, and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Supplier & Vendor Management: Identify potential suppliers, evaluate offers, negotiate contract terms, and build lasting relationships.
• Procurement & Ordering: Process purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders (POs), and manage the purchasing lifecycle, including tracking deliveries.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, and assist with demand forecasting.
• Cost & Quality Optimization: Analyze market trends to optimize procurement costs, review product quality, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier agreements, while generating reports on procurement costs and performance.
