Job summary

Waaree Energies in Gujarat, India seeks a seasoned Contract Manager to lead drafting, review, and negotiation of supplier agreements across raw materials, capex, logistics, tolling, and service contracts. You will partner with procurement, supply chain, finance, and operations to structure sourcing strategies, mitigate commercial risks, and ensure compliance with laws and internal governance.

This role requires 3–8 years in contract management, LLB/LLM, and strong negotiation and stakeholder

Qualifications

• LLB or LLM from a reputed institution.
• 3-8 years of experience in contract management, preferably in manufacturing/industrial sector.
• Strong expertise in commercial contracts, procurement, and supply agreements.
• Proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance aspects relevant to manufacturing.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of supplier agreements (raw materials, capex, logistics, tolling, service contracts).
• Partner with procurement and supply chain teams on sourcing strategies and contract structuring.
• Identify commercial and legal risks; propose mitigation strategies (pricing, liability, indemnity, delivery terms, etc.).
• Standardize contract templates and drive contracting efficiency across plants.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal governance policies.
• Manage contract lifecycle (execution, renewals, amendments, performance tracking).
• Support dispute resolution, claims, and vendor escalations.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and quality teams on contractual obligations.
