Waaree Energies in Gujarat, India seeks a seasoned Contract Manager to lead drafting, review, and negotiation of supplier agreements across raw materials, capex, logistics, tolling, and service contracts. Qualifications

  • LLB or LLM from a reputed institution.
  • 3-8 years of experience in contract management, preferably in manufacturing/industrial sector.
  • Strong expertise in commercial contracts, procurement, and supply agreements.
  • Proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance aspects relevant to manufacturing.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of supplier agreements (raw materials, capex, logistics, tolling, service contracts).
  • Partner with procurement and supply chain teams on sourcing strategies and contract structuring.
  • Identify commercial and legal risks; propose mitigation strategies (pricing, liability, indemnity, delivery terms, etc.).
  • Standardize contract templates and drive contracting efficiency across plants.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal governance policies.
  • Manage contract lifecycle (execution, renewals, amendments, performance tracking).
  • Support dispute resolution, claims, and vendor escalations.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and quality teams on contractual obligations.
