Job summary

SGS India is seeking a qualified lawyer to support contract management and commercial legal activities. The role requires 7-8 years of experience in contract management, corporate law, and exposure to global stakeholders.

The candidate should be proficient with contract lifecycle processes, MSA/NDA/Intercompany agreements, and legal databases, with strong English communication for international teams.

Qualifications

• Essential: Qualified lawyer (LL.B. or higher) from a recognized Indian university
• Minimum 7-8 years of relevant experience in contract management, commercial legal support, or corporate law.
• Experience working in or with global organizations, with exposure to cross-border legal matters and stakeholders.
• Proven experience with outsourced legal services or centralized legal support functions is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, commercial agreements (e.g. Master Services Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Intercompany Agreements), and legal administrative processes.
• Proven ability to manage workflows and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in contract management software and legal databases and MS office, familiarity with legal tech platforms is beneficial.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
