Job summary

Symphoni Hr in Navi Mumbai is seeking a procurement professional to manage vendor relationships and oversee end-to-end purchasing for engineering and MRO items. You will handle RFQs, costing, negotiation, and contract finalization to drive cost efficiency.

The role includes import procurement, documentation, and SAP ERP purchases with MIS reporting, plus development of suppliers and rate contracts to improve delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. in Mechanical/Engineering (preferred).
• PG Diploma in Materials Management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Engineering spares, electrical items, plumbing, consumables, MRO items, services and contracts.
• Vendor identification, development, evaluation, negotiation and relationship management.
• RFQ, quotation comparison, costing, price negotiation, PO/WO finalization and cost reduction.
• Rate contracts, annual contracts, service contracts, renewals and coordination with Legal.
• Import procurement, documentation and customs clearance procedures.
• SAP/ERP purchase module and MIS reporting.
• Local market knowledge for engineering/MRO items is a plus.
• KPI orientation: cost reduction, timely delivery, vendor development, quality improvement and rate contracts.
