Job summary

KSB in Delhi, India is seeking a technically skilled professional to review indents, coordinate with TSS/CM, and ensure QCP accuracy. The role includes SAP part list releases, drawings, and site issue resolution.

Responsibilities cover 3D input support, pattern layouts, document control, and standardization efforts to reduce inventory, with collaboration across KSB Tech, Nuclear Engineering, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• 1. Review order indents and ensure correctness; communicate with internal functions like Technical Support to Sales (TSS) and Contract Management (CM) for corrections.
• 2. Participate in internal kick-off meetings and provide technical inputs to resolve concerns.
• 3. Review and approve Pump Quality Control Plans (QCPs) submitted by TSS and CM within 1 working day; ensure correct Inspection class.
• 4. Prepare and release an error-free pump part list in SAP for standard pumps within 5 working days and for project pumps within 10; ensure release of technical supplements.
• 5. Prepare manufacturing drawings and assembly check drawings for API and Non-API pumps; manage revision and archiving.
• 6. Assist 3D modelling team by providing 2D drawings and inputs; participate in checking models.
• 7. Resolve technical issues during Assembly Testing and at site; conduct site visits with Supreme Serv and Claim Management teams; coordinate with KSB Tech.
• 8. Implement order-specific development activities with KSB Tech; evaluate effort hours; coordinate with Nuclear Engineering for modelling as needed.
• 9. Create pattern layout drawings and requisitions for new parts.
• 10. Maintain all documents in the PMPS library.
• 11. Participate in standardization of pump components across models to minimize plant inventory.

Job description

1. To review order indents and ensure correctness. To communicate with internal functions like Technical Support to Sales (TSS) and Contract Management (CM) for corrections to the Indents and QCPs.

2. To participate in internal kick-off meetings and provide technical inputs and ensure resolution of any technical concerns.

3. To review and approve Pump Quality Control Plans (QCPs) submitted by TSS and CM functions within (1) working day. To ensure correctness of Inspection class during the review.

4. To prepare and release an error free pump part list in SAP for standard pumps within (5) working days and for project pumps within (10) working days from the receipt of indent. To ensure the release of Technical supplement and implement part list changes as per revised indents and QCPs received during the course of project execution.

5. To prepare manufacturing drawings and assembly check drawings for regular and development orders for API and Non-API pumps. Revision and archiving of manufacturing drawings as per defined procedure.

6. To assist the 3D modelling team in generation of 3D models by providing required 2D drawings and other dimensional inputs, participating in checking the models etc.

7. To resolve technical issues reported during Assembly Testing and from site. Conduct site visits in consultation with Supreme Serv and Claim Management teams for analysing critical issues. Coordinate with KSB Tech and other internal functions for finalizing solutions as required.

8. To implement order specific development activities and analysis in coordination with KSB Tech through offer permits. Evaluating the effort hours quoted by KSB Tech. Co-ordinate with Nuclear Engineering team for modelling and analysis as required.

9. To create pattern layout drawings and requisitions for new parts to be developed.

10. To maintain all documents in the PMPS library.

11. To actively participate in tasks related to standardization of pump components across models in order to minimize plant inventory.
