Job summary

CMR Group is seeking a dedicated Executive/Sr. Executive in Security to safeguard plant, staff and assets across shifts. The role requires supervising guards, gate operations, and traffic management, with emphasis on incident reporting and security compliance.

Eligible candidates should have 2–7 years in industrial security, a degree in any discipline, and preferably a fire safety or armed forces background. Training in CCTV, access control, and MS Office is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institute.
• Diploma / certificate in Fire Safety or Management, or Armed Forces officers' training.
• 2–7 years of experience in Industrial Security, or working experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
• Stable career history: not more than 2 employers in the last 5 years (service in the Armed Forces counts as one employer).
• Preference for candidates with a background in the Armed Forces or allied services.
• Supervising security guards, gate operations and men and material movement in a plant.
• Patrolling, incident and theft control, and security reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure complete security of plant, equipment and manpower resources.

Job Description:

This position is responsible for ensuring the complete security of plant, equipment and manpower resources. The position holder will be responsible for the security function in the shift. The major job responsibilities are:

Strictly implement the department SOP related to men and material movement.

Protect the company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Look for new security techniques and processes, and strive to implement effective security systems.

Submit all required security reports to the Security Head and the management as and when required.

Conduct routine patrolling and checking across the plant.

Be responsible for the assigned areas of deployment, and minimize threats and risks on a day-to-day basis.

Control and minimize accidents and thefts, and formulate mitigation plans to avoid them in future.

Monitor the loading and unloading of all material, including raw materials and finished goods, by the gate security guards.

Supervise traffic management in and around the plant premises to ensure accident-free traffic movement.

Keep constant touch with local police stations and senior police officials for the security of the plant.

Horticulture: ensure environment preservation and biodiversity, and maintain the greenery index of the plant.
