Job summary

Pyramid Human Resources Consultancy in Tamil Nadu's chemical manufacturing corridor seeks an experienced Assistant Manager Security to oversee day-to-day security at our Cuddalore plant. The ideal candidate is an ex-serviceman with at least five years of security operations experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial setups.

You will lead security guards, control access, monitor CCTV, coordinate with EHS and plant teams, and ensure compliance with SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day security operations at the chemical manufacturing plant.
• Supervise security guards, allocate duties, and maintain discipline and attendance.
• Control the entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance and conduct regular security patrols and inspections.
• Prevent theft, pilferage, unauthorized access, and loss of company assets.
• Monitor the movement of chemicals, raw materials, finished goods, and transport vehicles.
• Coordinate emergency response, security incidents, and evacuation drills with EHS and plant teams.
• Maintain security registers, gate passes, visitor logs, and incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with security SOPs and coordinate with local police and relevant authorities when required.
• Coordinate with HR, Administration, Production, and EHS teams to strengthen plant security.
