Job summary

3S Business Advisors in Vellore is seeking an Accountant/Management Accountant on a contract basis. Work from office, full-time role within the Finance & Accounts dept.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of General Accounting experience, a B.Com/M.Com or related finance degree, and exposure to fixed assets, bank reconciliations, and statutory processes. Manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• B. Com / M.Com or postgraduate in Finance & Accounts from a reputed institute.
• CA intern or MBA in Finance desirable.
• 3–5 years of experience in General Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and synthesize general ledger for group companies.
• Maintain Fixed assets register and Capital project accounting as per Indian accounting standards.
• Reconciliation of Capital Vendor balances including mobilization advances and retention money.
• Review Bank Guarantees/Performance Guarantees from project suppliers.
• Prepare and maintain books of accounts from bills and vouchers with proper documentation.
• Adhere to reporting and audit schedules for external and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure proper maintenance of data, records and required documents.

Position Description

The role holder is required to consolidate all the funds in a inclusive manner and help to build reports for reporting financial information to the management in a comprehensive manner

Position Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and synthesize common ledger for group companies
• Maintained Fixed assets register and Capital project accounting as per Indian Accounting standards.
• Reconciliation of Capital Vendor Balances including Mobilization advance, Retention Money etc.
• Reviewing of Bank Guarantees/ Performance Guarantee received from supplier of Projects
• Prepare and maintain the book of accounts from bills, vouchers while preserving all documents
• Adhere to reporting and audit schedules for external and internal stakeholders
• Ensure proper maintenance of data, records and required document.
