Job summary

Axium Global Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Estimation professional to deliver precise take-offs, tender documentation, and cost estimates for global MEP projects.

The role involves collaborating with international design firms and coordinating with senior management to ensure accurate bids. You will evaluate drawings, schedules, and calculations, leveraging ConEst, ProEst, Revit, and Autodesk Construction Cloud while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Diploma, B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Electrical Estimation.
• Experience with estimation software such as ConEst or ProEst.
• Experience working with Auto desk Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Job Description

Axium Global's MEP & Design Engineering Team consists of skilled professionals, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineers with varied experience. The team delivers comprehensive Building Services Design Solutions to MEP clients across the world. Axium Global Pvt. Ltd. has successfully delivered MEP services for numerous projects over the years, including Hospitals, Airports, Stadia, Educational Institutions, Commercial Buildings, and Residential Developments.

This position requires the candidate to work directly with leading MEP design consulting firms from the Australia, USA, and UK regions who are involved in some of the flagship projects in their respective countries.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager – MEP Design & Engineering.

Responsibility for providing project take-offs and associated documentation for tendering.

Ability to understand electrical drawings, calculations, schedules, schematics, and quantify accordingly.

Experience in Communications, Security, Audio Visual, and Nurse Call Services will be an added advantage.

Experience using Auto desk Construction Cloud, specifically Auto desk Takeoff, will be considered an advantage.

Ability to work independently.

Regular communication with clients regarding project requirements and estimations.

Understanding of project-specific local codes and standards and utilization of the latest industry-leading software.

Ability to take on a leadership role with the potential to build and manage a growing team.

Train and mentor other team members as required.

Additional Requirements

Ability to communicate with clients independently, stakeholders, leaders, and peers in written and spoken English.

Ability to independently perform take-offs using software such as Bluebeam.

Demonstrated leadership skills.

Ability to learn and work on new software and technologies.

Willingness to undertake offshore visits to clients' offices, if required, for detailed training and one-to-one sessions.

Display positive attitudes such as flexibility, collaboration, professionalism, and empathy.

Willingness to accept and implement constructive feedback.

Good knowledge of digital engineering, estimation processes, commercial aspects of design and installation, and site installation and commissioning processes.

Perform value engineering tasks by analyzing tender documentation and providing technical advice.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant technical qualifications.

Minimum 4 years of experience in Electrical Estimation.

Experience using estimation software such as ConEst or ProEst.

Experience working with Auto desk Revit.

Experience with Auto desk Construction Cloud (Docs, Takeoff & Build).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Proven experience in independently managing client communication.
